- Took 皇家客運 from between 北車 and 228 Park (25.04410, 121.51689) to 小油坑. Weekdays 6:40, weekends 7:00, advice is to arrive a minimum of 15-20 minutes early to get a seat
- Hiked in rain, changed socks once
- a lot of downhill, recommend trekking poles
- stone stairs to 冷水坑, then some dirt roads. muddy after 風櫃嘴
- view was pretty good, not too physically draining, just very long and very downhill

Shuangxi Groove Ancient Trail 雙溪溝古道
a natural primitive path mixed with foliage and dirt, flanked by a variety of trees and ferns, along the way, you can hear the sound of gurgling water and see the scenery of a “clear stream flowing over a stone”. The scenery is quiet and calm, a secret spot that makes people forget their need to return.
由枯葉與泥土混雜的天然原始路徑，兩側夾以千姿百態的樹木以及各式蕨類植物，途中，還可以聽見潺潺水聲，看見「清泉石上流」之溪溝景致，可謂是景幽境清，令人流連忘返的秘境。
Baishihu 白石湖地區
The 116-meter-long Baishihu Suspension Bridge connects the Baishihu community, the surrounding mountain temples, orchards, and forest trails, etc. Its features are shaped by keel imagery, while adopting a straight-way design for the suspension bridge, without suspension ropes, so as to blend in with the beautiful scenery of the local fields. In addition, the area is also famous for its strawberries, with numerous orchards along the way, which have their fruits harvested from December to May, during which time tourists can enjoy eating and picking.
白石湖吊橋全程長116公尺，串連了白石湖社區、周邊山寺、果園、森林步道等，其特色是以龍骨意象塑造，又，採直路式設計成無懸吊纜繩的隱形吊橋，以利融入當地的田園美景。此外，當地亦以草莓聞名，沿途果園商家眾多，採果期從12月到翌年5月，在這段時間內，可享受邊吃邊採的樂趣。
Yuanjue Falls 圓覺瀑布
Also known as Neihu Falls, it is one of the eight famous scenic spots in Neihu. The beautiful waterfall and the majestic boulders make it a magnificent sight to see, indeed a sanctuary in the summer. The waterfall is surrounded by pavilions, benches and waterfront areas, where you can feel the natural negative ions cleansing your body and soul.
又稱內湖瀑布，為內湖八大名景之一。絹秀的瀑布再加上雄渾的巨石，蔚為壯觀，著實為夏日避暑聖地。此外，瀑布周圍設有景觀涼亭、座椅及親水區，可駐足於此，感受自然負離子洗滌身心靈的快感。
Wuzhishan Ancient Trail 五指山古道
An ancient trail composed of interwoven bamboo forests and flowing water. On the way, you can see not only the remnants and traces of ancestral pioneers, such as the original site of the Wufu Temple, early stone embankments, mossy stone steps and ancient bridges, while also famous scenic spots: Kezilin Shipan Waterfall and the southern peak of Youji Mountain. In the summer, this is a hiking and summer resort which features both natural and humanistic beauty.
為一竹林流水交織而成的古意盎然山徑，途中不只可見先民拓墾的遺跡，如：五福宮的原址、駁坎、青苔石階和古橋，還有著名景點：柯子林石磐瀑布、友蚋山南峰。盛夏時節，這裡可說是兼具自然與人文之美的登山避暑勝地。
Dagou Creek Water Treatment Park 大溝溪治水園區
The near-natural design of the Dagou Creek which employs a porous design provides a good habitat for plants and animals to flourish, thus creating rich ecological resources and making it an excellent outdoor ecological classroom. In addition, in order to have the functions of water-friendly leisure and recreation, the creek bed is equipped with facilities such as a platform and a walkway, making it a good place for parents and children to visit together.
因採用多孔隙的近自然工法設計來整治大溝溪，提供動植物良好的生長棲息地，因此，孕育出豐富的生態資源，為一絕佳戶外生態教室。此外，為兼具親水休閒遊憩的功能，於溪床設置親水平台及步道等設施，成為親子同遊的好去處。
